Matt is ready to share his passion in telling and sharing your organization's story. Working as an Emmy Award winning news anchor/reporter in some of the country's largest markets including Seattle, Boston, Miami, and Baltimore, Matt developed a style all his own. He combines dynamic communication, public speaking, and crowd engagement techniques to deliver truly memorable moments and drive fundraising.
As a professional storyteller by trade, Matt has a specialty for understanding the organization's missions, desires, and goals. He's authentic. That resonates with your audience.
Matt has hosted charity fundraising events for Seattle Children’s Hospital, Woodland Park Zoo, Special Olympics Washington, The Museum of Flight, Mary’s Place, Camp Korey, EvergreenHealth Foundation, Northwest Kidney Centers, Boyer Children’s Clinic, Cancer Pathways, Haring Center, Meany Center for the Performing Arts, Town Hall Seattle, Northwest Parkinson’s Foundation, PROVAIL, Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Center, Seattle Festival of Trees, Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium, Easterseals Washington, NOAH Center, American Heart Association, Bridge of Promise, Wonderland Child and Family Services, Tavon Learning Center, Seattle Works, The Friendship Circle, Best Buddies, Bridge Disability Ministries, Brigadoon Service Dogs, and numerous local private schools and PTSAs.
He also emceed the Opening Ceremonies of the 2015 Special Olympics Washington Summer Games with more than five-thousand people in attendance and the dedication of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Park with roughly four-thousand people.
Helping worthy causes is a personal passion for Matt. He grew up in the Pacific Northwest, attending public school on the Eastside and then graduating from the University of Washington.
Matt's mother had a long career as an elementary school teacher in the Bellevue School District. His father is a retired cardiologist. That's why Matt is driven to improve healthcare and education in this region.
He's also the parent of a child with intellectual and physical disabilities and has become a champion for those with special needs.
